What Dethrone is

Dethrone is a public leaderboard where position is bought. The highest bid holds #1 until somebody bids more. We do not endorse, review or vouch for anything listed — a high rank means someone paid for it and nothing else.

Full mechanics are on the rules page, and they form part of these terms.

Listing

• You must own the website or profile you list, or be authorised to promote it.
• You are responsible for what you link to and for it complying with the law.
• Listings that break the rules are removed without a refund.
• We may remove any listing, at our discretion, where we believe it is unlawful, deceptive, or harmful to the people who click it.

Payment

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers.
• A rank is claimed by a completed payment. Starting checkout reserves nothing.
• Prices are in US dollars and include no tax unless stated at checkout.
• Promotion codes are limited in number and may be withdrawn at any time.

No refunds, and no guarantee of rank

Bids are not refundable once a listing is live. You are buying a position that anyone can take from you by paying more — that impermanence is the product, not a defect. We do not guarantee any rank, any duration at a rank, any amount of traffic, or any result.

If we charge you twice, or a payment succeeds and your listing does not appear, that is our error and we will fix or refund it. Contact us and we will.

Availability

Dethrone is a small service and is provided as is. It may be unavailable, may lose data, and may change or close. We do not promise uptime. Where the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous thirty days.

Changes

These terms may change as the service grows. Anything already paid for keeps the terms it was bought under. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the new terms.
